Because I hate DC for the reboot. No, I don't hate it, just...I don't know, don't have many hopes on it. Okey, ranting ahead.
So this is a WW redesign I've created because I don't like much the new design. Why? Simple as if they're changing it, then they should change every little thing that was a 'mistake' in the first place. The silver color in the new design suckz, because Diana is an amazon, and the color of the amazons IS GOLDEN, because they worship the sun!
Second, if we are goin' into new times, don't you think you should stop showing so much of the 'wonder boobs'? The idea is that heroines are powerful as men, and that woman have the same rights, then WHY! OH Why do you make them look like tools? I want Batman running in short pants and a top with cleavage? I don't think so.
And WTF is going on with that bloody choker!? She looks like a whore! She is an amazon for god's sake, she IS a warrior. Amazons choped off their breast because they were bothersome in battle! We are not even asking that much!
So that is my opinion, in anyways it doesn't bother me THAT much, in comparison on how I am mad about Harley's new costume. She looks like a freaking circus whore. DC NEWS FLASH! WOMEN CAN BE HOT USING CLOTHE! And stop dressing them for needy geeks please!
And if you are going to keep it up with the almost naked woman, then I want to have all the friggin' Batfamily bared chested all the time! Whats fair is fair right?
OMG! I got the place of the third runner up in Super Hero of the Month, contest! I'm so freagin' happy !!
I love your costume design and I agree with your opinion on how Diana should dress. Personally I think that in her civilian life Diana would wear something similar to a Hijab, since Amazons probably try and encourage men to judge them for their brains and personalities and not by their looks.
Thank you! The hijab sounds interesting, though it would be a huge cultural mash-up hahahahaha, but maybe something similar in greek standards but yes, they would definitely be over the clothing and fashionable thing.
I liked your opinions so much that they even shadowed your art on the matter (Which is awesome make no mistake) Actually I want to commend you on your opinions about the subject which nearly mirrors my own.
Disproportioned & unclad female body parts stopped to be fun right past puberty stage for this male, (I still can't resist a well rendered female hair though I think I am more hooked with the technique used rather than its sensuality) For me the allmighty, unapproachable amazon godess act is a much bigger turn on then any amount of flesh bared. (God, I missed comics)
Jajajaja, opinions are a strong thing, regretly DC seems to have none, or at least no modern ones. Wish Grant Morrison was DC's main editor, he is not afraid of change.
Is a good thing to see that there are guys who think that way, given the case that almost all of this industry is run by males. And god yes! hair is such an awesome thing, in females or male characters, it kinda emphasizes the character personality I think
You're most welcome. And in an industry that make second origin movies for its icons (Batman, Superman, Spiderman) in a few decades after first (both S-Man movies mentioned above are even worse, rebooted under a decade) one's hopes can not go much higher in terms of originality. I really miss the stories after the crisis in infinite earths when they built the modern DC on the solid foundation Marv Wolfman & George Perez set up (Now that is how you reboot a universe.)
